This time, I visited Chiran Noen Cafe, located in the peaceful countryside of Minamikyushu City, Kagoshima.

When I entered the shop on a Saturday afternoon, it was surprisingly quiet and calm. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, making me feel at home instantly. There were complimentary tastings of their organic Chiran tea on every table — a thoughtful touch that made the experience feel very special.

Must-Try: Organic Matcha Soft Serve

I ordered the Matcha Soft Serve (¥400), which is made with organic matcha from their farm. The flavor was intense and earthy — clearly different from your typical soft serve. If you love real matcha, this is a must-try dessert.

I also tried their famous Chiran Tea “Shizuku”, which was incredibly smooth and refreshing. I ended up buying a pack to enjoy at home. They offer various tea gift sets and souvenirs — ideal for travelers looking to bring a piece of Japan home.
